Membership runs from January 1 to December 31 and includes electronic copies of the Newsletter and the annual issue of our journal French Colonial History. Membership is mandatory for scholars presenting at the society’s annual meeting.
NOTE: As a result of upgrades to our website, our subscription system has been modified to reflect the January through December membership cycle. This means that all memberships will expire at the end of the calendar year, regardless of when they were purchased. All members will receive renewal reminders in December each year. There will be a grace period for those wishing to renew or purchase their memberships in the fall: all memberships purchased after October 15th will be applied to the following calendar year.

PayPal and Check Options for Membership Payments and Donations
Prospective, existing, and renewing members of the French Colonial Historical Society now have two options for paying for annual dues and making contributions to the Society's important prize funds: traditional payment by check through the mail and via PayPal. PayPal is useful for its convenience, especially for our members overseas who can easily pay and have their foreign currency converted; members outside of the US and Canada should opt for US membership. The paper form can be found below.

In order to make contributions in addition to a membership, please return to this page to do so. To pay by check and mail, see below for printable form and mailing address. Please note that membership dues for our Canadian members have been updated to reflect the current exchange rate.
If you are an existing member renewing your membership through the website: Once you select your membership level you must use the login boxes at the top of the membership form. Filling in any other details on the membership form will generate an error message. Your username is your e-mail address. If you do not know your password, please contact Katie Edwards at email@example.com. Once you have successfully logged in you will be able to complete the renewal process.
